Patrick Corillon (Knokke, 1959) is a multi-faceted artist, by turns a writer, playwright, actor, storyteller and visual artist. Through his theatrical, editorial and artistic productions, he appeals to a wide audience, touched by the poetry of his images, the grace of his words and the magic of his worlds. Exhibited at Documenta IX in Kassel and the São-Paulo Biennial, at the Tate Gallery in London and the Pompidou Centre in Paris, Patrick Corillon designs public art interventions whose common denominator is the exploration of a rich imagination, his own as much as ours, which he likes to summon, enrich and even create.
